Creator tags & business controls
Manage No Campaign Disturb and custom tags, distinguish protection, and understand catalogue deletion and policy impact.
#Tags, ownership, and AI boundaries are different
Tags organize Creators, but the controls are not interchangeable:
| Control | Main effect | Do not confuse it with |
|---|---|---|
| Manual tags (custom tags) | Seller-defined categories for filters and Safety Policy conditions | Any tag automatically stopping AI |
| System tag: No Campaign Disturb | Blocks new automatic Campaign outreach | Protection, stopping replies, or stopping all AI work |
| Creator protection | Blocks AI takeover; Campaign outreach also excludes protected Creators | Reassignment, deleting history, or undoing sent invitations |
| BD Human-only mode | Staff handle that BD's Creators rather than AI | Ownership or targeting of global Campaign outreach |
| Approval Policies | Hold selected AI-submitted actions for review | Active Agent Escalation or automatic reassignment |
Combine them intentionally. A long-term partner can keep normal AI communication while No Campaign Disturb prevents new automatic invitations. A custom “Priority partner” tag can help a policy hold relevant messages for review. For no AI takeover, use protection or a Human-only BD, not a custom tag merely named “No Campaign Disturb.”
#Add or remove tags on a Creator
Open Affiliate → Creators → open a Creator → Management, then find the tag editor.
- Search the manual tag catalogue and add an existing tag.
- With definition-management permission, create a custom tag and add it.
- Remove a tag from this Creator when it no longer applies.
- Add/remove system tags in their separate section, reading their business effect first.

Tags belong to the seller-wide Creator relationship, not one Shop or Campaign. The same Creator across Shops uses the same relationship tags. Recent-change information records time and source: staff, Agent, or system. Action history provides the wider record.
Removing from this Creator detaches one association; it does not delete the account's tag definition. BDs can use existing tags on relationships they may manage, but cannot create or rename global definitions. A read-only relationship does not grant editing permission.
#What No Campaign Disturb actually blocks
The current No Campaign Disturb system tag prevents newly evaluated automatic Campaign outreach to this Creator. Normal Affiliate workflows and direct replies to inbound messages remain available, subject to other permissions, protection, BD operating mode, and Approval Policies.
It does not retract sent invitations or block incoming messages. Removing it does not guarantee an immediate invitation: other Campaign eligibility and limits still apply.
The Agent can also propose tag changes. Safety Policies decide whether those changes execute automatically. If held for review, inspect the add/remove operation, exact tag, and target Creator in Agent Workbench before approving. A manual tag with the same name does not acquire the system tag's effect.
#Maintain the account-wide tag catalogue
Account owners and supervisors open Team & Channels → Creator assignments, then Tag catalog to search, create, rename, or delete shared custom definitions.
APP CAPTUREEnglish light-theme Creator assignments with the shared tag catalogue below.
- Rename: changes the name throughout the account, so every tagged Creator shows it—not just the currently open Creator.
- Delete: removes the definition, detaches it from all Creators, and removes references from Approval Policy matching and exclusion conditions.
- If an enabled policy would lose its only positive tag condition, the system disables that policy rather than silently widening it to all Creators.
Before deletion, the confirmation lists affected Creator counts, policy references, and policies that may be disabled. This is irreversible catalogue deletion, not ordinary tag removal. Afterwards, check Safety & approval and revise rules that should remain active.
#Filter and hand off tagged relationships
Filter manual tags and system tags separately in the Creator directory; multiple selections support Any or All matching. Combine with progress, BD, Shop, and attention filters. Filtering changes the view, not relationship settings.
For bulk changes, export from Creators and import through Team & Channels. Imports can also change BD ownership and protection. Check the update mode and empty-cell semantics in Bulk import; do not accidentally clear protection or ownership while maintaining tags.
