Data analysis
Finance and payouts data
Reconcile statements, settled detail, and seller payouts.
Finance has three sources: statements, settled income, and seller payouts. They explain settlement, fees, and disbursement rather than treating order GMV as withdrawable revenue.
All tables contain fictional sample data in USD, not real statements. Income uses final settled records, excluding unsettled estimates. Statement-based date filtering differs from the payout initiation and completion timestamps shown separately.
#Statement summary
Identify statements and settlement components. Query totals, net sales, revenue, shipping, fees, and adjustments by Shop, statement date/ID, currency, and status, with payout links.
Organize last month's statements with net sales, shipping, fees, adjustments, and settlement totals. Retain statement and payout IDs; do not filter by order creation instead.
#Sample summary data
| Statement date | Statement | Net sales | Shipping | Fees | Adjustment | Settlement | Payout |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2026-10-15 | DEMO-ST01 | 500.00 | -20.00 | -50.00 | 10.00 | 440.00 | DEMO-P01 |
| 2026-10-16 | DEMO-ST02 | 300.00 | -10.00 | -30.00 | 0.00 | 260.00 | DEMO-P01 |
Two statements settle 700 USD and link to one payout. Do not count that payout once per statement. Preserve source signs; taking absolute values of negative fees does not turn them into revenue.
#Settled income detail
Trace statements to orders, SKUs, and adjustments. A row is statement × order/adjustment × SKU; adjustments without SKUs remain separate rows. Fields cover quantities, discounts, refunds, commission, taxes, shipping, other fees, and settlement amounts.
Expand DEMO-ST01 settled income and retain adjustments without SKUs. Deliver raw records separately from our company template, excluding unsettled estimates.
#Sample raw detail
| Type | Order / adjustment | SKU | Net sales | Shipping | Fees | Adjustment | Settlement |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Order | DEMO-F101 | CB-BLUE | 300.00 | -12.00 | -30.00 | 0.00 | 258.00 |
| Order | DEMO-F102 | BL-WHITE | 200.00 | -8.00 | -20.00 | 0.00 | 172.00 |
| Adjustment | DEMO-ADJ01 | — | 0.00 | 0.00 | 0.00 | 10.00 | 10.00 |
These rows total 440 USD, matching the example statement. Dropping the SKU-less adjustment creates a 10 USD discrepancy. Settlement is not product price. Full exports can retain additional raw fields before requested template mapping.
#Seller payout detail
Identify payments from the platform to the seller. Each row is one seller payout, with ID, status, amount, currency, initiation/completion timestamps, available exchange rate, and masked bank account.
Reconcile payouts linked to these statements. Show initiation and completion separately; do not call a payout received when completion is unavailable.
#Sample raw detail
| Payout | Amount (USD) | Status | Initiated | Completed | Bank account |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| DEMO-P01 | 700.00 | Completed | 2026-10-18 | 2026-10-19 | ****0042 |
| DEMO-P02 | 150.00 | Processing | 2026-10-20 | — | ****0042 |
The second payment is not shown as completed. Buyer payments, statements, and seller payouts are distinct data layers. Use exchange rates only when supplied and keep bank accounts masked.
