Open & Target Platform Collaborations
Create and manage platform Collaborations, Sample rules, commissions, and Shop-wide settings safely.
#Platform Collaborations are not Campaigns or BD ownership
Open Affiliate → Platform Collaborations to manage TikTok Open and Target Collaborations. These are real Shop-level platform objects. Campaigns organize automatic Creator discovery and outreach.
- Open: Product-based participation. Eligible Creators can discover the Product and apply for a Sample without first receiving a Campaign invitation.
- Target: an invitation for an explicit Creator list, with Products, commissions, end time, seller contacts, and Sample benefits.
- Responsible BD: seller-wide Creator ownership. Creating a Collaboration or sending an invitation does not assign a BD; inbound messages or applications trigger assignment.

#Search and inspect a Collaboration
Choose a Shop, then filter by status, Open/Target/All, and search. The default type is Open; switch to Target when looking for sent targeted invitations. Use pagination and page jump for further records.
In detail, verify Shop, type, platform state, Products, and commissions before inspecting related Creators and applications. An Open Collaboration need not have an expanded invitation roster; its absence does not prove no participation. The Creator detail's Platform collaborations tab provides the reverse lookup for one Creator.
#Create an Open Collaboration
An account owner or supervisor selects New Collaboration, a Shop, and Open, then supplies the Product ID and default commission. Enter percentages; the form supports 1%–80%. Verify the Shop and Product before submitting.
This creates real TikTok configuration, not a local draft. Publishing a Product into Open Collaboration and setting its Sample eligibility are different operations. Open the detail afterwards to configure Sample rules.
#Open Collaboration Sample rules
Open Edit configuration to enable/disable the Sample rule and set quota, time window (or unlimited window), minimum followers, GMV, average video views, categories, and predicted fulfillment rank. Available fields remain subject to platform and form guidance.
The existing Open Collaboration editor locks commission. Changing Sample thresholds is not a commission edit. Platform Sample eligibility is also separate from the team's AI action Approval Policies.
#Create a Target Collaboration
Choose a Shop and Target, then verify:
- Name, end time, and invitation message.
- Creator Open IDs, separated by whitespace, commas, or semicolons—not display names or arbitrary internal IDs.
- The complete Product list, standard commission per Product, and optional advertising commission.
- Seller contact Email and other contact details.
- Free Samples and Sample-approval exemption.
Submission creates a real TikTok invitation. If a conflict is reported, inspect existing platform Collaborations rather than repeatedly submitting the same roster. Sample benefits and approval exemptions require business authorization.
#Preserve the full state when editing
Editing a Target Collaboration submits full configuration, not merely an extra Creator or Product. Before saving, check the entire Creator roster, entire Product list, commissions, end time, contacts, and Sample rules that must remain. Do not assume omitted old fields will automatically survive.
If missing safety fields block saving, complete them or reload platform state. If the result reports partial success, verify individual outcomes before correcting anything; do not assume everything succeeded or rolled back.
#Shop-wide Open Collaboration settings
Open Collaboration settings controls automatic addition of new Products and their default commission at Shop level. It is not one Collaboration's Sample rule or a bulk commission edit across all existing Collaborations.
Recheck both settings after changing Shops. Saving writes to TikTok. In a multi-Shop operation, avoid enabling automatic additions on the wrong Shop or using another market's default commission.
#Removal and permissions
Remove from platform is a real platform operation, not hiding a card. Read the confirmation and check active Creators, Samples, and commitments first. It does not replace returning a Creator to the public pool or removing a tag.
Owners and supervisors create, edit, remove, and manage Shop-wide settings. An individual BD login sees only Target Collaborations containing their own Creators, with shared rosters narrowed to that BD's own part. Open Collaborations stay outside that workspace. BDs may read the permitted records but cannot manage global Collaborations.
Use Manual Workbench for direct messages and Sample decisions, and Agent Workbench for AI action review or active handoff. Platform Collaboration state is neither Proposal review state nor Creator ownership.
