Shared setup

Connect the mobile App

Install, pair with your Desktop, and access your AI while away from the office.

#Connect your phone to your Desktop

The mobile App lets you talk to AI while away from your computer. It is not a separate computer running Shop operations. After pairing, ask for Shop updates, summarize exceptions, or prepare changes for confirmation. The handling Desktop, its network, and its model connection must remain available.

Mobile pairing is shared setup for Customer Service, Affiliate, Inventory, and Data analysis. You do not need a separate installation for each business.

#1. Open the mobile installation page

On Desktop, open Connections → Messaging Channels and select ChatClaw in the add-account section. The page displays the mobile App installation entry point.

Open the installation QR link on your phone and follow the instructions to add the App to your home screen. This is a home-screen-installable web App. On iPhone, open it in Safari, use the Share menu, and choose Add to Home Screen. On other phones, follow the browser's installation prompt.

Installation and pairing QR codes serve different purposes: one opens the mobile App; the other connects your phone to this Desktop. Opening the mobile page alone does not complete pairing.

#2. Generate a pairing QR code

Back on Desktop, select the mobile App and click Connect to open the pairing window. On your phone, tap Scan QR Code, allow camera access, and scan the current pairing QR code shown on Desktop.

The window shows how long the code remains valid. When it expires, generate a new code on Desktop and scan that one; do not reuse an old screenshot. After pairing, check the connection record and send a test message from your phone.

These screenshots use demonstration data. The QR codes are illustrative only. Scan the code generated by your own Desktop and never share pairing codes with others.

#3. Start work from your phone

Specify the Shop, period, and whether changes are allowed. For example:

Check today's Customer Service escalations and Affiliate items awaiting human handling for Brightloom US. Summarize only; do not reply to buyers or change statuses.

Analyze sales changes for Brightloom US over the last seven days. List the products with the largest declines, using Shop-local payment dates. Show conclusions and supporting figures.

Review this Shop's Customer Service instructions. Suggest changes first and wait for my confirmation before saving.

Mobile conversations respect account permissions, connected data, and business rules; another entry point does not bypass human review. Do not assume context from another conversation is carried over. Include the Shop and task background. See Chat and sessions for more examples.

Disconnect access promptly if a phone is lost or no longer used. Deleting the entire mobile messaging channel disconnects all phone pairings for that Desktop. Check the scope before deleting. Confirm the computer and account owner before pairing with another Desktop.

To use AI through Feishu/Lark, WeChat, or Telegram instead, see Messaging channels.
